CME ACCREDITATION

An application has been made to the UEMS-EACCME® for CME accreditation of this event. 

The European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS). CME accreditation granted by the UEMS-EACCME® provides a guarantee to participants from all over the world that the content of the CME provided is of a high quality, unbiased and didactic and, for European doctors, that this quality will be recognized in their home country. EACCME® credits

Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she spent in the educational activity.

Each participant can only receive the number of credits he/she is entitled to according to his/her actual participation at the event once he/she has completed the feedback form. 

The EACCME® awards ECMEC®s on the basis of 1 ECMEC® for one hour of CME with a maximum of 8 ECMEC®s per day. 

GSC 2021 has been granted 26 European CME credits (ECMEC®s) by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®).

USA and Canada

Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Information on the process to convert EACCME® credit to AMA credit can be found at www.ama-assn.org/go/internationalcme.

Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognized by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

All other countries: To convert ECMEC®s, please contact your respective national accreditation body for more information.

Simple procedure

Attendance at the accredited sessions will be monitored and traced both online and onsite.

At the congress venue delegates will be asked to scan the QR code printed in their badge at all access controls.

Starting from November 6, participants will receive an email with a link to access and complete the CME questionnaire. The link will be active from November 6 to November 27, 2021.

The CME certificate will be sent via email after checking your participation to the sessions.

Please note that after November 27, all data will be submitted to EAACME, therefore after that date it will not be possible to claim for credits.
